The fact its missing is by design to ensure that if you want the UI, you have to use their phone company.

Re: 3 reasons why Friendfeed is better than Digg

That's interesting, I have not experimented with the social aspects of Friend Feed, I'd be interested in knowing more, even a "how to" would be good. Which RSS feed to you consume?

Re: Quick post: How to spot a Twitter spammer

Don't forget the ones that start with "Sexy" followed by some random crap. I don't think I know of any real people who would actually use a name like that on Twitter.

They will also usually be following a HUGE number of people and barely be in the double-digits for followers.

Re: Rant on Talkshoe: Lack of Talk

I do use firefox....

Re: Rant on Talkshoe: Lack of Talk

Do you use IE7 on XP? If so it has to do with an issue of streaming mp3's through through flash plugins... the problem is found on most other sites trying to stream mp3. I think this may fix itself when Adobe Flash makes some changes on streaming mp3 for XP IE7.... I suggest you use Firefox, it's a much better browser.

Re: Rant on Talkshoe: Lack of Talk

I use it all the time and did yesterday and 3 times this week with no problem.

Re: Why the hell is my wordpress.com account suspended?

wordpress is the worst. Now, you can read all of your favorite newspapers, blogs, books, magazines etc. anywhere and everywhere. You do not have to worry about the weight and size of your reading material and about how you will transport it on the move.

Second, you can do and learn more with what would have been wasted down time while you wait for this or that. You can just pull it out whenever you have a few minutes here and there.

Third, think of the environmental cost savings. If we, as a collected whole, begin to do more and more of our reading from "paper-like" digital devices, we will be cutting down less trees, maintaining and even increasing oxygen levels and perhaps even fighting global warming.

Fourth, you begin reading content that you may have otherwise missed and will become more and more educated/cultured as you seek out new and different reading materials.

All in all, while $359 for this device plus the cost of the books etc. seems high, you are getting a great deal of value out of it, be it value from convenience, value from supplementary education, value from environmental protection or other value.

I still would recommend this to anyone! He also knows that I know he's an enterprise lightweight to say the least. The good news is that he graciously suggested I turn up at his next Marc Benioff interview. You would have caught the rest of his line:

"If you keep saying you’re going to heaven, chances are you’ll get there. But don’t look for any of your friends.
